2019 SHALEM INSTITUTE CONTEMPLATIVE VOICES AWARD

Shalem is pleased to award their 2019 Contemplative Voices Award to Carrie Newcomer, performer, recording artist, educator and “prairie mystic.”

Shalem's Contemplative Voices Award was created to honor those individuals who have made significant contributions to contemplative understanding, living and leadership and whose witness helps others live from the divine wellspring of compassion, strength, and authentic vision.

There will be a fundraising event to celebrate this award and to support Shalem’s work and ministry in the world. Sunday, October 27, 2019, 5-7 PM Unity of Fairfax, Oakton, VALight refreshments will be served, and attendees will receive a complimentary copy of Carrie’s newest CD.
